The Mum Career Change Program is one-on-one coaching, because I believe that a Mum needs a personal coach and expert to help guide you through a career change.
While Mum Career Change Program follows TLC’s 3-Phase Career Change Framework (ie. Career Clarity, Confidence and Capability), each session is customised and tailored specifically to you and your needs.
-
We'll brainstorm career ideas together, but I will never advise you on a specific job you ‘must’ have. This is because you're much more likely to be open and curious about exploring career options that you've generated yourself than ones imposed on you by someone else.
However, I will teach you proven strategies on how to explore those career options, and be your ‘guide on the side’ as you explore them through my proven framework.
-
In addition to our one-hour weekly coaching session, you will likely spend between 1-2 hours per week focusing on your career change by doing some exciting exercises and ‘real-world’ activities that we will discuss during our sessions.
-
As the program is tailored to suit your current circumstances and needs, pricing will be discussed as part of the Strategy Session. This provides us with an opportunity to discuss what is possible for you and no matter the decision you make, create a next step for you to move forward.
-
Payment are made via bank transfer.
For the 1:1 Mum Career Change Program, you can pay 50% at least 24 hours before the first session and then the remaining 50% at least 24 hours before the 5th session.

Great question!
Let's start with your free 30-minute Strategy Session here to see if we are a good fit.
During the session you can tell me where you’re at and what you’d like to achieve through coaching.
I will tell you how I work, answer any questions you may have, and then we can start creating a plan for the best way forward for you.

Most of my clients come to me after they’ve tried to figure out what they want to do next, and are unable to.
Often, their idea of ‘trying’ to discover what they want to do next consists of them scrolling through job boards or LinkedIn, with no real strategy or plan, hoping that their dream career will miraculously pop up on their screen and make all their career dreams come true.
They might even try to speak to someone about an area they might be interested in, but then not know how to leverage that conversation, so it becomes a dead-end.
Others think that somehow their dream job will come knocking on their door.
Many clients with previous careers in areas such as the law, accounting, management consulting etc almost expect their next career change to come knocking on their door, because they haven’t had to ‘try’ to find jobs in the past, or there was always some sort of career path set out for them in their previous profession.
The truth is this: Things don’t happen by chance, they happen by CHANGE.
Are you happy with the results in your career right now?
If not, you need to CHANGE what you’re doing because what you’re doing now isn’t working. You’re not where you want to be. It’s as simple as that.
If you could do it alone you would’ve done it by now.
Other Mums don’t start looking because they are in a state of overwhelm.
How do I figure out what to do next? And then once I figure that out, how do I get a job?!
They come to me because they don’t know the ‘how’.
I will show you the HOW.
Finally, we are not supposed to go through a career change alone!
Just like raising a child ‘takes a village’, so too does a career change.
Jobs are attached to people, not a company. People do business with people.
I’ll show you how to create that village.

Many Mums come to me after discussing their career concerns with friends or family. And whilst friends and family ‘helping you’ with this may be coming from a good place, their own biases and beliefs often impact their ability to support you.
Coaching provides the space and structure necessary for personal and professional reflection, learning and growth, which is essential to changing careers.
A coach is focused solely on YOU and what you need to move forward to achieve what you want.
-
Us Mums think this ALL the time, no matter how much money we have.
We would rather spend money on our children, on our house, on anything except ourselves.
Investing in yourself IS investing in your children.
If you want to show up as the best version of yourself and the best mother to your children, you need to invest in yourself.
My coach once said to me that there’s nothing more valuable you can invest in than your mind, because your mind is your most valuable asset.
Your mind creates the value you put out in the world. And your mind determines the quality of your life.
Your future is determined by your willingness to invest in yourself now.
Money is a resource.
Don’t put the power into money, put it into YOU to become more resourceful and create the career and life that you want.
-
I’m happy to speak with them to help them understand how I can help you, get them involved in the process and allow them to ask any questions they may have.
-
The word ‘busy’ might be the most common word us Mums say, or at least think about ourselves and our life.
Let me use this opportunity to coach you - what feeling does saying and thinking that you’re ‘too busy’ create for you?
Overwhelm. Anxiety. Stress.
And how do you show up in your life when you’re constantly feeling overwhelmed, anxious and stressed?
Happy, productive, effective?
Probably not.
Saying you’re ‘too busy’ does not help you in any way.
We make time for what is important to us.
Is happiness and fulfilment in your career and life important to you?
How will your life look in 12 months if you don’t make a change? How about 2 years? How about 5 years?
There is never a good or ‘right’ time to make a career change.
If you try waiting for the perfect time, you just won’t end up doing it.
Trust me, I’ve seen this countless times.
You may also be saying you’re too busy right now because you are overwhelmed about not knowing where to start with your potential career change, not because you’re actually ‘too busy’.
Consider making this a priority and see how solutions come to your mind.
